Need to replace pillows and bed/bedding in master. Might also consider spraying for spiders. Otherwise, we had a great time and enjoyed the view!
My husband was upset at the limited TV/dish service. He has a couple of MSNBC shows he looks forward to seeing every evening and couldn't watch them this time. We were able to last time. I hope the service can be extended in the future. Thanks

Great location next to the quiet end of the beach. Easy walk or drive to town. Kitchen was fully stocked which made for easy cooking.
This is our third year staying at the Beach House. We love the view and the proximity to the beach and mostly that our dog is welcome. A few things kind of got to us this time though. Nothing big,just little things like the shower head (no bathtub) and the lack of dressers. Certainly not expected while on vacation, but wireless would have been a bonus. The service at OceanEdge was PHENOMENAL, especially considering we arrived a day earlier than arranged...kudos to OceanEdge!!
Clean and comfortable. Sleeps six, but really only seats 4. Most of the beds are upstairs - very steep and narrow stairs.

slight musty smell from basement in the downstairs bedroom
We have an ionizer placed in the downstairs bedroom that takes care of the musty smell. Renters often turn the ionizer off not realizing its purpose.
Funky and charming house, great for cooking in the well equipped kitchen, wonderful open view of the beach, great for storm-watching.
Light was out in the basement.
It would have been nice to have a tub instead of just a shower. Unfortunately there was dog hair on one of the blankets when I turned down the sheets. Other than that the location was beautiful and the stay was great!
This is a fantastic house!My wife & I had a great time in Manzanita and the "Beach House" was perfect. Very clean, cozy and comfortable. Having traveled up and down the entire Oregon coast, Manzanita is at the top of our favorite's list. We will return to this area again and would love to stay at the "Beach House" again.

All I would change about the house is to add an ADA toilet. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis in my knees. All else is comfortable and cozy. We love it there.
the bay windows in the living room need to be cleaned on the outside. Each morning and each evening they fogged over, whereas the windows did not. It could be that they need to be replaced. Otherwise, great place to stay.
The Beach House is wonderful and relaxing. It's big enough for 2-3 adults, although the downstairs bedroom did smell musty from the basement. We didn't sleep downstairs because there was more space for me and my husband and our dog in the upstairs loft-like bedroom. It's a very comfortable and relaxing home with a 5 star view and deck. Thanks so much for being pet friendly so we could bring our entire family to the beach. =)
We enjoyed our stay! Nicely appointed kitchen, good view, good location, pleasant experience with OceanEdge. Only complaints were the stinky garbage in the basement that made the house stink (which we figured out on the day we were checking out!) and the less than comfortable bed upstairs.
We loved the location. The general layout and amenties were perfect. The house is in need of some overhaul. The main floor bedroom was only bearable to sleep in due to the musty odor from the basement. I was ok with it, my wife slept upstairs with the kids because she was could not take it ofter one night. Everything else about the stay was excellent. This was an very relaxing vacation for us. Just what a vacation should be. We will probobly try another property location with your company next time we come down. We love the Manzanita area

The house has a fabulous view. Short walk to the beach. Cleanest rental house we've stayed in so far. Thanks for letting us bring our dog, and we hope we left the house almost as nice as when we arrived.

we always enjoy our time at the Beach House, my only issue is having to do laundry prior to departure. This makes me focus on housework as opposed to enjoying the last remaining hours of our trip. Folks at agency are very nice. Also, we'd love the Beach House even more if it had a hot tub.
We loved the place. It was cozy & quaint, and just the size we needed as a couple. The light in the house is lovely and the location is prefect for getting to the beach quickly when the sun pops out in between spring rains (or snows for that matter). We'd stay there again!

Although we looked at many different rental homes on the internet, this one caught our eye because we wanted something very close to the beach. It was even better than the pictures! Views of the ocean from all the windows and deck and it was a very short walk to the beach. Even our 175 lb Mastiff had plenty of room to stretch out and we appreciate it being a pet friendly house. The kitchen had plenty of supplies, more than other houses we've stayed in, even though we didn't use it much. Everything was perfect!
my only negative for our stay was when I had to wash the towels and sheets before our departure. Instead of enjoying my last morning I was busy trying to get the laundry done.
We had a wonderful vacation at the Beach House - it was in a perfect spot for walking to the beach and had great views from the deck and windows.We have stayed at several vacation rental homes and found this one to be one of the best stocked houses we have stayed at. There were lots of nice towels and the kitchen was extemely well stocked - we bought way too much stuff with us as it was all there.Manzanita is a lovely well kept little town and about a 10 minute walk along the beach to go for a cup of coffee or a wonderful fresh baked cinamon bun from the great little bakery or deli.Our dog had a great vacation too as the house was very dog friendly and so was the beach and town. We didn't have any kids with us but the Beach House is a great place for a family vacation. We can't wait to come back !

charming cottage, beautiful location, stocked well in the kitchen, excellent beach access. My only complaint would be that the musty basement smell comes up to the bedroom on the main floor. Not sure how to remedy this problem. Our family had a wonderful stay.
We found the house to be very comfortable, and the proximaty to the beach was awesome! The view was great and the kitchen well stocked with cooking tools. The fact that this home is also pet friendly is absolutely fantastic and we will definitely recommend this home to others. We will be back as well!Thanks!

The thing about the Beach House that weenjoyed the most is the fantastic unobstructed view. We love it!We we hoping for a dish drainer in the kitchen. Even though there is a dishwasher, sometimes it is nice to be able to wash a handful of dishes.
We had a very nice weekend at the beach house. My only negative comment would be that we paid a $70 non-refundable cleaning and we still needed to wash our own sheets, towels and leave the kitchen clean.
My four friends and I enjoyed our stay at this small, but cozy and comfortable beach house. The view was great and just a short walk to the beach. The kitchen was very well equipped. We ate all our meals there and the dining area accomodated us all. The living room area is small but adequate. Bed space upstairs is spacious but stairs are steep. The location and view is worth dealing with one bathroom for five women!
Great location, just 30 seconds from the beach. The beach is beautiful and not too crowded in December. House is a great size and dog friendly!

The beach house is great. We want to go back again this summer but the house is already booked solid! The staff at OceanEdge are the best! They took such good care of us. We stayed at the Beach House for Thanksgiving and the staff had a delicious homemade pumpkin pie waiting for us upon our arrival! The staff at OceanEdge have always been thoughtful and friendly. They helped make our stay special.

Great location an view of beach, plus next to the trail down to the ocean. The only drawback was having only 1 bathroom, making shower and bathroom logistics tough since we were a group of 2 adults and 4 kids. Otherwise, it's a great place for some quality beach time.
My sister and I selected "The Beach House" after seeing it during several previous trips. Great location and perfect for two people. We spent quality time storm watching -- the beach is so close we could ohh and ahh over the wave action while inside and nice and warm and comfortable in cozy furniture. Perfect location for walking into town to see what is going on and the mandatory stop at the bakery and restaurants. The Beach House is now on our "short" list of best places to stay.
We had a wonderful and relaxing time. The home was very well kept, great views and just a 1/2 block walk to the beach. Works well for a family with kids or just a couple of friends.
No better place to stay. Right at the beach. Listen to the ocean to put you to sleep at night. Great views from every window. Perfect stretch of beach right outside your door.
